Ce besoin, bien r\u00e9el, se manifeste par une sur-utilisation du tableur Excel de Microsoft par l\u2019immense majorit\u00e9 des DRH de France et de Navarre. Au-del\u00e0 de la d\u00e9rive instrumentale \u00e0 laquelle se sont parfois laiss\u00e9 aller certaines DRH, quelles sont les limites des outils \u00e0 disposition sur le march\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n<p>Evacuons d\u2019embl\u00e9e le cas de figure o\u00f9 l\u2019instrument masquerait le peu de r\u00e9flexion quant \u00e0 son objet : on commence alors par \u00ab il nous faut un outil \u00bb (en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00ab de \u00bb GPEC, Evaluation, Talent management, Mobilit\u00e9\u2026), puis on met en place une application qui ne s\u2019use pas vraiment puisqu\u2019in fine pas grand monde ne s\u2019en sert\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi Excel remporte-t-il bon nombre des suffrages ? Parce qu\u2019il est \u00ab \u00e0 la main \u00bb de ceux qui s\u2019en servent, parce qu\u2019il est relativement simple d\u2019utilisation, et parce que l\u2019on peut le charger par des \u00ab exports Excel \u00bb provenant des applicatifs de paie et de suivi des temps. Reste que ses limites sont atteintes d\u00e8s lors qu\u2019est souhait\u00e9 un partage s\u00e9curis\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats produits. Les \u00e9changes de fichiers se font via des messageries \u00e9lectroniques et les mots de passe les plus sophistiqu\u00e9s soient-ils ne garantiront jamais une confidentialit\u00e9 absolue. De surcro\u00eet, tant sur le fond (formules, \u00ab macros \u00bb\u2026) que sur la forme (fusions de cellules, bordures\u2026), la confection d\u2019un fichier reste l\u2019\u0153uvre originale du cerveau de son auteur ; lorsque celui-ci n\u2019est pas pr\u00e9sent, il est souvent bien difficile de s\u2019y plonger pour modifier le fond ou la forme afin de satisfaire dans l\u2019urgence \u00ab la demande venant d\u2019en haut \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s lors qu\u2019un outil s\u2019adapte au processus qu\u2019il sert et aux acteurs concern\u00e9s, si son utilisation est aussi intuitive que n\u2019importe quelle application grand public sur smartphone, et s\u2019il garantit la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du partage des donn\u00e9es et leur historisation, bien interfac\u00e9 avec par exemple les logiciels de paie et de suivi des temps; il satisfera alors les besoins l\u00e9gitimes des DRH.<\/p>\n<p>Adapt\u00e9 aux vrais besoins des vrais utilisateurs, un outil doit \u00eatre au service de leur intelligence et de leurs capacit\u00e9s contextuelles d\u2019analyse. Car ce ne sont pas les outils qui analysent. Par contre ils soulagent de t\u00e2ches fastidieuses, ils mettent souvent sur des pistes, ils produisent parfois des impasses, ils permettent de tester des hypoth\u00e8ses. BI, \u00ab business intelligence \u00bb, la belle affaire ! O\u00f9 est l\u2019intelligence ?
